During this Wonderland, you'll immerse yourself in local culture in a way that few travellers do.
Take a rickshaw into the nearby town and wander through bustling local markets where foreign visitors are still a rarity. Learn to play cricket with a local player. Join daily yoga sessions. Discover the beautiful traditions of mehendi (henna) or wear a traditional sari for a night. Learn to prepare authentic Indian dishes during cooking classes with our kitchen team. If you wish, you can also join Hindu rituals at the temple on campus and gain a deeper understanding of local traditions.

Staying active comes naturally on our jungle campus! Start your day with yoga, do a few laps in the pool, work out in the on-site gym, challenge your friends to pickleball or badminton in the sports hall, or join a game of volleyball or football outdoors. And since we're in India, we've asked a local player to teach us the basics of cricket!

Once you close your laptop, there's always something to discover! Get up early for a birdwatching walk, wander one of the jungle trails, explore the abandoned steel factory, book a Jeep for a night drive or rent an e-bike to discover the surrounding villages. Adventure is always just beyond your doorstep.

Meet your India Jungle Wonderland hosts
- Salut ! I'm Camille, an "ex-French" girl turned world explorer. In 2013, I quit my life to travel the world - and I haven’t stopped since! I've lived in the UK, South Korea, Thailand, and Colombia, and have visited 60+ countries as a location-independent freelancer and entrepreneur.
I like sleeping in hammocks, riding scooters, eating all the foods, and scaring my mother trying adventure sports! I now share this journey with my boyfriend Bauke, with whom I bought a home base in Bansko, Bulgaria.
I started Nomads in Wonderlands to share memorable experiences around the world. Eight incredible events later, I'm excited to celebrate the community's 2-year anniversary with this one-of-a-kind destination! Frequently Asked Questions
- Accommodation – Your stay on the jungle campus from 24 January until 21 February is included. Accommodation during the two nights of the pre-event meetup weekend in Goa (22–24 January) is not included, giving you the freedom to book the room that best suits your budget and preferences.
- Meals – During our stay on the jungle campus, breakfast, lunch and dinner are included every day. Meals during our time in Goa and on days spent away from the campus are at your own expense.
- Activities – Almost all activities throughout the month are included in your participation fee. This includes community events, weekend excursions, transportation, and entrance fees. We also leave room in the schedule for spontaneous ideas from the group. Any costs related to these activities are shared by the participants who choose to join. While you're welcome to practice yoga on your own, guided yoga classes are a paid add-on (€50 for up to 20 lessons). Some campus facilities, including the sauna, e-bike rental and Jeep tours, also require a small fee.
- Transfers – We provide a group transfer from Goa to the campus in Karnataka on 24 January, and from the campus back to Goa Airport on 21 February. If you can't join the group transfer, we're happy to help arrange alternative transportation at your own expense.

- Flights, trains or other means of travel to and from India and Karnataka outside the group transfers on arrival and departure days

That's why we don't ask you to make your way to our jungle campus on your own. Instead, we'll meet in Goa, one of India's most popular and easiest-to-reach destinations, before travelling to Karnataka together as a group.
Starting in Goa also gives everyone two relaxed days to recover from their journey, settle into India, and get to know the other Wonderlanders. Think beach walks, sunset drinks, and great conversations before we kick off our jungle adventure.
To avoid missing out, you should aim to arrive on Friday 22nd January. On Saturday we'll organize several activities, and on Sunday we'll travel together to our Jungle Wonderland in Karnataka, a journey of around four hours. After settling into the campus, a special welcome program awaits us.

Our campus enjoys a particularly pleasant climate. Sitting at around 400 metres above sea level and surrounded by lush rainforest, it stays naturally cooler than the surrounding plains. Being around 100 km inland from the Arabian Sea also means you avoid the sticky coastal humidity that places like Goa are known for.
During our chapter, you can typically expect sunny days with temperatures exceeding 30°C, which results in average temperatures around 26–29°C, while the evenings and nights cool down nicely to 17–20°C, making them comfortable for sleeping and outdoor dinners.
The coworkings are designed to stay naturally cool, and ceiling fans are more than sufficient. In fact, air conditioning isn't needed at this time of year. It's only towards April and May, when temperatures rise further, that air conditioning becomes desirable.
In short: think warm tropical days, pleasantly cool nights, and far less humidity than the coast. It's one of the reasons we chose this time of the year for our India Jungle Wonderland.

Smoking is only allowed outdoors. A ₹2,500 (cleaning) fee will be charged for smoking indoors, and we ask smokers to be considerate of other participants, as most Wonderlanders don't smoke.

Our jungle campus has been welcoming digital nomads for the past two years and offers reliable high-speed internet from two independent providers, as well as backup power to minimize interruptions. The setup has been tested and approved by many remote workers before you.
That said, you're still working from rural India. While our accommodation partner has invested heavily in creating a reliable working environment, occasional internet or power disruptions can never be completely ruled out. Nomads in Wonderlands therefore cannot accept responsibility for any interruptions to your work.
For extra peace of mind, we recommend purchasing a local SIM card or eSIM with a data plan. It's a useful backup for work and keeps you connected while exploring the area.

All meals on the jungle campus are freshly prepared by our local kitchen team and are included in your stay. You'll enjoy a mix of authentic Indian cuisine and occasional international dishes, with plenty of variety throughout the month.
Besides the meals on campus, we'll also plan local restaurants visits (optional), organize a traditional tandoori BBQ, and learn to cook authentic Indian dishes during one of our cooking workshops.
Vegetarian meals are always available. If you have dietary requirements or allergies, please let us know before the event and we'll do our best to accommodate them.
- Breakfast typically includes a traditional Indian breakfast dish, alongside oats, muesli, yogurt, toast, and different egg preparations.
- Lunch usually consists of a rice dish, salad, eggs, and fruit or a smoothie, with the menu changing every day.
- The foundation of our dinners is vegetarian Indian cuisine, with favourites such as dal, curries, and bhaji. To add variety, we will also include dishes with chicken, fish, prawns, or mutton some evenings, and once a week an international choice.

An online video call may be part of the application process. This helps us make sure India Jungle Wonderland is a great fit for both you and the rest of the group. If you're not ready to apply yet or would simply like to ask a few questions first, you're welcome to book a call with us before filling out the signup form.
If your application is accepted, you'll receive a confirmation together with your invoice and payment instructions. Payment must be made within 3 days of receiving your invoice. We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received within this timeframe.
Your spot is officially secured once we've received your payment.
If you choose to pay in installments, your second and final payment is due by 30 November 2026. If we do not receive the remaining balance by this date, we'll assume you've decided to cancel your participation and our cancellation policy will apply (see below).

We know that you're probably excited to join us but also that emergencies can happen - so we want to give you some flexibility in case of unforeseen circumstances. If you need to cancel your participation, please let us know as soon as possible by email at events@nomadsinwonderlands.com.
We offer a cancellation option until the 30th of November 2026. For any cancellation up to this date, we will refund your existing payment(s) minus a booking deposit fee of €200.
Beyond this date, all payments received are non-refundable. (Note: if we're able to fill your spot from the waiting list, we'll always do our best to offer a more flexible solution.)
We strongly recommend taking out comprehensive travel and cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen circumstances.
